AFP [Automated Fibre Placement] refers to ‘Automated Fibre Placement’, a manufacturing technology that enables the automatic placement of reinforcing fibres, such as carbon fibre or glass fibre, onto a matrix to create composite parts. This method is widely used in sectors such as aerospace and the automotive industry for the manufacture of lightweight, high-strength components.
