The group is capable of producing elastomeric components for oil refiners, oil-related industries, petrochemical companies, machinery manufacturers and maintenance providers, pipeline operators, oil logistics and transport companies, as well as packaging firms and gas companies.
BORFLEX® manufactures, amongst other things, elastomer pipe scrapers designed for cleaning pipes, for the conveyance of multiple petroleum products through a single pipe, and for preventing pipe blockages.
BORFLEX®’s main product for the petrochemical industry is the cellular rubber scraper. This highly technical product was developed to ensure maximum safety for workers in the oil industry.
- This is a highly versatile and extremely durable multi-product scraper. It is compatible with all petroleum-based products (oils and their additives, fuels, solvent-based products, etc.)
- The rubber scraper used in the petrochemical industry does not deteriorate on contact with the products and therefore remains impermeable, thereby eliminating the risk of leakage through the scraper.
- The rubber scraper operates in both directions (forwards and backwards): no manual intervention is required, ensuring optimum safety for staff and a cleaner workplace.
- The materials selected are of the highest possible quality to ensure the product’s reliability.

Technical specifications
Our foam scrapers are made from closed-cell elastomeric foam. Both of these materials meet the chemical industry’s specific requirements for resistance to abrasion, aggressive fuels and chemicals.
Elastomeric foam scrapers are specially designed to negotiate tight bends and significant changes in diameter. Special surface coatings can be supplied where polyurethane or EPDM are not suitable.
