At Innotrans 2018, BORFLEX® REX presented an alternative solution for the storage and transport of axles and bogies. With our wheel support skids, we have so far been able to convince a number of railway companies and OEMs of the solution’s cost-effectiveness, manoeuvrability and versatility.

In fact, several thousand wheel support pads are used for the transport and storage of wheel sets and bogies. Transport may take place by lorry or by train at the platform. We would particularly like to thank SBB for their cooperation during the product development phase. We would also like to thank BLS for giving us the opportunity to film a demonstration of the wheel support pads in action on their premises. The video is available on our YouTube channel.
