We are looking for a Turner/Grinder (M/F) to machine and grind rubber-coated rollers of various sizes, using conventional or CNC machines.
Your main responsibilities for this role are as follows:
- To turn, machine and grind rubber-covered rollers, ranging from small to very large diameters, on conventional or CNC machines.
- Set up the machines (fitting parts, selecting tools, cutting parameters) and ensure operations run smoothly.
- Check the dimensional accuracy and surface finish of the rollers.
- Ensure the quality of your work and adherence to production deadlines.
- Strictly adhere to the health and safety rules and quality procedures in force on site.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in consultation with your line managers.
- Ensure that your workstation is kept clean and in accordance with site standards.
Required profile
- You have significant experience in turning on conventional lathes
- You are confident in reading drawings and carrying out dimensional checks.
- Knowledge of the rubber industry would be a real asset.
- You are known for your reliability and are able to work independently.
