SIFER 2023, THE TRADE SHOW OF ALL RECORDS

The 13th edition of the SIFER 2023 exhibition, dedicated to the rail market, attracted great interest from French and international exhibitors and visitors. This year's attendance reached a record level, with more than 7,000 professionals participating. The BORFLEX teams welcomed more than 200 visitors during the three days of the show, presenting a selection of their specialized product lines for infrastructure and rolling stock.

1. BORFLEX® at the SIFER International Railway Exhibition

At SIFER 2023, exhibitors unveiled their latest innovations and technologies for the rail industry. Among them, BORFLEX® presented a complete range of products known for their quality and durability. The brand representatives also took advantage of the event to discuss the latest market trends and developments.

BORFLEX® has been mastering the challenges of the railway industry for over 60 years and has always been able to provide systems adapted to the needs of the infrastructure and also of the rolling stock.

In addition to its current flagship products, BORFLEX® unveiled its latest innovations at the show, including its 3D printing projects that allow the realization of complex shapes with different materials. The company also presented a brand new decking system combining rubber and composite, the result of the group's unique expertise.

With complete control of the production chain, from the choice of raw materials to the manufacture of parts in small and medium-sized series, BORFLEX® is able to adapt its formulations to meet the specific needs and uses of each part.

2. Railway products

The various projects managed by BORFLEX® experts have naturally led them to create product ranges or systems specifically dedicated to the infrastructure or rolling stock fields.

Here are some examples of the products presented.

Infrastructure:

- Swisscross, THEResin crossing for service and crosswalks with different grid sizes.

- VELOSECUR by BORFLEX®, is another system developed for the infrastructure, it is dedicated to the safety of cyclists when they cross railroad tracks. This system allows to fill the rails of the railroads to allow bicycles, strollers, wheelchairs, to circulate in full safety!

Rolling stock:

• Wheelset Axle support

This system allows the transport and storage of wheelsets and bogies. It is a support for the protection of the rim, the tread of the wheelsets and the bogies.

The visitors were able to see that BORFLEX® services cover construction, maintenance and upgrading. The company's specialists understand their customers' challenges and adapt to their requirements.
