BORFLEX REX, based in Mendrisio, in southern Switzerland, is a company specialized in the design and manufacture of technical articles in elastomers & thermoplastic elastics (TPE). BORFLEX's areas of expertise include rail infrastructure, railway rolling stock and brake pads with the SwissStop brand.

We are looking for a :

PROJECT MANAGER - TECHNICAL AND RAILWAY ARTICLES (M/F) permanent contract

You will manage strategic pre-sales projects for technical rubber solutions, particularly in the railway infrastructure sector.

Working closely with the sales department, you are responsible for ensuring that the customer's needs are properly defined and understood, through specifications.

Working closely with the R&D teams, you will study and evaluate technological options. Together with Quality & Management, you oversee the choice of materials and technologies to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.

You analyze the customer's needs and liaise with production.

You plan and draw up requirements and standards with reference to planned projects

You work with production teams to industrialize customer requirements.

Profile required:

• You have an engineering degree or a degree in a relevant technical field, with a particular appreciation for knowledge of civil engineering.
• You have a proven track record in project management, ideally acquired in the rail or elastic materials sectors, demonstrating your ability to navigate in complex environments.
• You have good communication and leadership skills.
• You are fluent in English and Italian, with French and German an added advantage.
